Possibly my favorite part of the show.

“I love it when my lyrics connect with the kids…BULLSHIT! I just want your money!”

There is finally MSI footage from the concert I went to on June 12!

This one includes the Jared Leto speech, which was freaking hilarious.

  • Men’s Synchronized Springboard Diving
  • Women’s 4x200 Relay (swimming)
  • Several men’s and women’s individual swimming races

List of Olympic Events I've Watched

The following are the Beijing Olympic events I’ve watched thus far:

  • Equestrian Cross Country
  • Women’s Beach Volleyball
  • Women’s Indoor Volleyball
  • Equestrian Obstacle (not sure of the actual name of the event)
  • Women’s Synchronized Diving (10 meter)
  • Men’s Gymnastics

So far I’d have to say I’ve enjoyed the Equestrian events the most. I’ve yet to catch Women’s Gymnastics or Swimming, and those were my favorites in the past.

My shopping trip

So my sister and I went back-to-school shopping today.

First we went to one of my favorite stores: IKEA. I bought a bookcase (for $20!!!), a rug ($7), a vase, and some bamboo (I’m going to try to keep a plant alive this year).

Then we went to Old Navy. I bought $36 of clothes (2 shirts and a pair of jeans). On a side note, the last day I work there is tomorrow. Huzzah.

Then we went to Target, where we got the rest of our school stuff (pens, notebooks, etc.) and res. hall room stuff.

Basically, it was a good day.

I love IKEA.
